Shane: Confessions of an Underdog (pt 1)

Hey FlameDelft,

Thanks for your encouragement.  The concept of growing from "love" is developed here, but it will also be important to remember that 1) Shane has a dark side that he is all too aware of -  a side that he doesn't like - one that wants to kick the shit out of Rich and some others.   and 2) Shane has chosen the size and shape of the body he inhabits even though he knows that his true self is much bigger.  This little bit of information will be key in the second part.

Once again Men of Muscle-Growth,  thanks for your likes and comments - and the messages.  I appreciate it. :-)

Interesting facts  those. I have a question here.

He hasnt show Cliff his true form or size yet and he is aware that his true self is much bigger, here is my question, for him to get to his true self he needs to  have that someone to balance him, he needs tp have that confidence in someone that he is not gonna be rejected in order to have a full development on his body, right?- That why he lost control, he could feel Cliff is not going to reject him so his body reacted from what it's been wanted in a long time. To be free.

Hi Ro20316,

You are onto something here.  There is a little bit of ying/yang going on for certain.  And yes, he was able to give into his basic nature A LITTLE.  Remember, he took down his barriers for a moment and then thought better of it and replaced most of them as to not frighten Cliff away.    Cliff is taking care of him emotionally and Shane is also physically responding to him.  That being said, he doesn't know what his true self really is.  He mentions that he wants Cliff to help him discover his limits.  He trusts Cliff to be able to pull him back if he gets too close to being a danger, but he yearns to find out his ultimate limit, like any person. That process is just beginning.  The climax of the story (which will be in part III) heavily involves this concept.  Also, it is important to remember when thinking of Shane's future actions: He is coming from a perspective of survival.  He has had no bonds of importance in his life and has had no kindnesses shown to him.  That is going to give him a very unique perspective on things as he starts to open up to Cliff.  Even though he knows Cliff cares about him completely and is remarkably NOT afraid or worried about his physical changes (and most importantly, can sense Cliff's moods and even thoughts- Cliff didn't ask for Shane's delts to expand out, he just thought it in close proximity to Shane), he fears losing the one person he has bonded to.  That is his biggest fear and it has to have some impact on how he will navigate the situations he is in.  Also, think about WHY he would had put himself into an average-to-weak body that is unremarkable in every way.  Why would he chose that?  Just a few questions to think about.

Thanks for the questions. If you have any more, feel free to ask. :-)

PS, another thing to consider-after he started to change with Cliff's touch and words, he reaches a point where his eyes turn black.  Not just the iris but his entire eye - whites and all.  Talk about a potentially scary-as-shit moment.  So there is something going on with that as well.  Cliff doesn't really respond to that yet, but its something to keep on the radar.

And as a very minor note at this point, Shane crooks his finger and can flip off the light switch that is across the room...just putting that into the mix as well.

Okay, man, the story is you. What a fucking rush. Guys who can write and imagine like this make me crazy hot. My best buddies are often like that: they have wild sexual imaginations.

I'd like to somehow come up to straight consciousness enough to give you some intelligent critique, but I'm in a lust trance.

This story is indeed very interesting. It starts slower than usual, but then all of a sudden it catches us off-guard and drag us along one of the most intesne growth scenes I've ever had. At the end I still don't know what Shane is, but I am fascinated with him, how he managed to stay good and kind albeit the insane power he has, and Cliff is a great character, the good samaritan who deserves to be with someone as powerful as Shane to guide and to love him.

Really good stuff!

Congratulations!

Please do not ruin the sweetness and lovely moment by habing Cliff be scared shitless because of the nlack eyes thing and all. Please just have Cliff be like he is perhaps a little aprehensive about it but not be scared. And please keep Shane a nice and sweet guy not high on power or super dominant after he has reached his max current size please? <='(

Awesome first story. Really hot and really well-written. Both of the characters are well defined and you've thrown the asshole friend in there too, which is nice on top of the other challenges they'll face.

Thanks for posting!
