news On the subject of non-male based stories and content

Recommended Posts

It's no doubt that if you're a member of this forum you like muscle in some form or another. The primary purpose of this forum is to help facilitate this and provide a place to come and share.

Recently I've seen some great posts on this forum, some of which don't feature any male-on-male action. Some members have started getting harassed because their content may feature a female.

I want to make it very clear that the Evolution Forum is accepting of all combinations of stories and posts, some of which may not include any male-on-male action. For some, this is the only place that they can come, express their feelings, and have a good time.

===

Before you go too far, know that posts such as those I describe will most likely take up only a small fraction of the content posted here, and if it does become more popular than more forum areas may be created. And for most people this isn't a very big deal, this post is mostly to address the more boisterous members of this forum.

Additionally, since day one there has been a tagging system in place that allows authors to allude what is in their stories before you click through to them.  If you need help on deciphering this tagging system there is a helpful guide.

===

I do not want anyone to feel harassed here. If I, or the moderating staff, sees anyone harassing another member because of their post then corrective actions will be taken. The Evolution Forum is here to encourage, share, and facilitate conversations. The Evolution Forum is not here to limit someone who still like what we like but prefers a different gender.

Seriously man, FUCK! This is what I love, not just about this site, but about you and all you've done. You didn't just save the last site, you brought with it the best of what it was meant to be - a celebration of inclusivity and growth, sweet sweet growth. I hope you get thanked on a daily basis by at least one of the thousands of people on this site because you really made this place something special.

Not only that, but with your special tag selections and forums there's no chance someone can "Stumble" onto something they don't like! I, for instance, am not a fan of stories where there's no GROWTH, I kinda view a story where there's only muscle worship and no growth to be like a porno where the guy just delivers the pizza, fixes the cable TV and then leaves. BUT thanks to the tags I now can see which are which and select which ones I want. They are clear, precise and easily viewable before even CLICKING on the story! With this kind of accommodation, attacks on story types you don't like seem pointless and out of spite alone! If you don't like the ladyfolk being involved in a growth story, don't click on that story then! Simple!

So as a self appointed representative of the many growth obsessed beasts on this site I gotta thank you man. Keep on being awesome!

I would like to pose a question here.

The previous forum's subtitle was 'male muscle growth'. Up until today, I assumed that this was still what this forum was about. To be sure, I read the subtitle of this forum, and got 'muscle growth, bodybuilding, and more'.

Wow... today is the first day that I realise that the word 'male' is gone.

So... does that mean that I can post female muscle morphs, for instance? Or stories having just female muscles?

I want a clear answer on this. Thanks.

I think that including female characters and even SOME growth should be acceptable provided the focus remains on male growth. People are understandably nervous about this, traditionally one of the few refuges for male-focused growth, getting subsumed into the much larger GTS community. But as long as the focus is on a male character getting bigger, I don't think it should be that much of a problem, esp if everything is clearly tagged. Certainly nobody should be getting harassed over it.

Having female characters and hetero themes is obviously fine if they are tagged correctly, but I'm nervous about losing focus on male muscle growth. I'd suggest "well, make a female muscle growth subforum" but aren't there a lot of female muscle growth venues on the internet already?

For right now I will be testing the waters by allowing female-only content such as morphs and stories.

As I stated I do not want to discriminate based on gender. Obviously like I said if it becomes frequent then seperate forum areas will be created.

There will be appropriate tags created so that those who do not want to see female-only content will know before they click.

The main focus of this forum is to allow people with a common passion to share. We should not restrict that based on gender.

Yes, I totally agree with those who acknowledge the moderator's huge contribution to the musclegrowth audience by rescuing this forum.  However, I definitely feel there should be a separate forum for content depicting female muscle.  Tagging is not enough.  The reason this site flourished in the first place was that it provided a haven from the hetero muscle community, defending our right to admire bone-hard MALE muscle, without the distraction of femininity.  Please don't spoil the dream, now that you've revived it!

This should be interesting because the reason why this forum was so successful before is because it was predominantly male growth. You are brave Craig for opening the door on this because I too fear that this forum will become predominantly female muscle worship within the next year. :/

That's just it though, I don't think there's any need for concern at all! Either the community who favour the finer sex growth is going to be relatively low key and won't be all that noticeable in amongst the hundreds of talented male oriented submissions OR it'll be big enough to require its own forum at which point there'll be no mixing at all!

It's not as though thousands of Female muscle growth lovers are going to come in here and muscle people out, so to speak. It's not like they'll post "Eww man growth" on any stories or threads or images! There is no risk here, and all reward as we get to broaden our user base AND on top of that get to experience new and unique growth experiences we wouldn't have had a chance to otherwise!
